That was very well phrased, **eclectic wench**. Now let’s hope it helps. While I’m enjoying the thorough spicing-up of the mini-rants threads\*\* what she’s been dealing with is just absolutely far and above what any mere mortal should be expected to endure. \*\* I open it in the morning, and it’s mostly “blah blah I stubbed my toe, blah blah arguing with the spouse, blah blah HEY! It’s a \*\*Lacunae \*\*post!” **sits up to read more closely** ETA: mostly kidding. I’m not actually looking to shit on the other folks in here with honest-to-god woes. ETA II: getting to VPN in and work from home occasionally is the _shizzznit_, except there’s no ergonomic or comfortable way to chill on the couch with my laptop. ---

I have a weird Facebook stalker who objected to my support of gay military members and who began sending initially harassing but now threatening PMs to me. Facebook feels that telling me to kill myself is not against their standards of behavior, so I sent a strongly worded “back off and GOOD DAY” PM to the stalker and blocked him. He is now posting my reply (out of context) on our neighborhood FB page. I sent an email with screenshots to our subdivision’s chief of police with a request for advice, before i have to break the news to my normally laid back but very protective USMC boyfriend, who would be loathe to beat the snot out of an allegedly wounded Navy vet, but who would be difficult to hold back if he saw the messages. ---

Very, very mini rant: Mr. “I hate anything vanilla” is eating all my vanilla yogurts. I do buy the fruit flavors he likes, but no, now he has to eat the vanilla ones. I just don’t get it. ---

Not at all a minirant: put in the paperwork for you promotion in fucking MARCH and it’s JULY and it’s still not fucking approved. I took on the new position on June 15th, and it’s a significant pay increase that I was really goddamn looking forward to and now it will be delayed. Ugh. ---
