So after weighing PT and lifestyle changes and limitations against surgery and a long recovery and PT and lifestyle changes and a high likelihood of one day having no limitations, I got the surgery. And it turns out the damage is irreparable. ---

What is it with people getting married and inviting everyone under the sun? These two coworkers are getting hitched in August and invited everyone at both company locations. Seeing as I’ve barely spoken two sentences to either of them in the last year, and their nicknames are the crackhead and the perv, well, no thanks. I generally don’t go to weddings anyway. ---

Well now I feel like a total fucking idiot. Early in the morning, still sorta waking up, and I have to call someone from a certain department. I ring the guy up, and in doing so mistake his name for the name of the one other remotely asian-sounding name in the building. And the place I got his number from also has his department, so I could have noticed it there So not just an embarassing mistake, but one that makes me look like a stupid fucking racist as well. Greaaaaat. This morning is starting off really well. ---

He was yelling at her to get the hell out. So of course, when he was finished I yelled at him to get the hell out. The cashier was cracking up, and said we made her day. ---

Daaaang! My dad only showed up with pizza and soda! (Well, and the big lawn mower. But I don’t get to keep it. No complaints, though, since he also mowed the grass except for trim work… Because he didn’t want me to push a mower in the weather we’re having lately. 105° American yesterday, with the humidity, it felt like 115°. I think that’s 40/46° Canadian?) 😉 Glad that it worked out for you guys, though. ---

I’m waiting to reunite with the woman who was so verbally abusive to me that she pushed me to be verbally abusive back at her. We had a shouting match, with profanity, right in the frozen veggies section. If there’s a next time, I hope to have the presence of mind to just walk away. Funny, these things don’t happen when I’m shopping for anything but food. My husband refuses to go shopping with me; he can’t take all the drama. ---

My opinion about certain kinds of Facebook posts: Facebook posts about Pokemon Go: not annoying. Facebook posts complaining about Pokemon Go: also not annoying. Facebook posts complaining about people complaining about Pokemon Go: starting to annoy me. So I guess now I’m the one complaining about people complaining about people complaining about Pokemon Go. ---
