I don’t get to go on the trip ☹ Just to make it even more annoying, because we were expecting the temp back, we’re now going to be short staffed (again) for the summer holidays, aka the busiest time. No way they’re going to get anyone new and up to speed in the next week. So… no holiday, extra shifts, and everyone rushed off their feet and probably in a rotten mood. Joy. I need a new job. ---

here’s my rant; why do we have to have one party that wants to ban abortion, pornography (at least in their platform), cut taxes for the rich, and barely acknowledges any anti-black racism exists, and another party that wants to poopoo Radical Islamic Terror, has some members who want to import Muslim refugees as some sort of new voter base, doesn’t acknowledge that some aspects of black culture need to change, and has a base that is increasingly anti-Israel (an un-American position)? ---

My brother and his 26 year old son came to visit and attend the wedding of my sister’s 30 year old son on Saturday (which I officiated). Then, on Sunday I took everyone out for a day on the Allegheny River pontooning. I didn’t notice my brother’s son’s t-shirt until we were on the water. It was an old shirt with cartoon characters I didn’t recognize and in large type, “FUCK THE POLICE”. Lousy timing (Baton Rouge). Luckily, no awkward situations ensued. ---

Already got turned down for one rental house … Ironically it’s in a part of Dallas that my mom insists is filled with “those people” (yep her words) so I at least got the fun of telling her that her pwecious daughter isn’t considered good enough to live to live among the poor and the swarthy skinned. 😃 I had no credit for a while, too. The way I did it is went to my bank account and asked for a credit card that was tied to my account. Then I started charging on it, every month, and paying it off. A few years later I was able to get a regular credit card and did the same. Now my credit score is really high. I know it doesn’t help you now, but you should start building your credit as soon as possible. Remember how I said above I chose to opt out of a lot of the world’s games? Unfortunately this isn’t one you can opt out of! **Another gripe about MS Office** I have to check a lot of PPTs at work for mistakes. Whenever I advance to the next slide, it vibrates. It’s highly annoying. So, I found a page that instructs how to disable Office animations. I don’t get their logic here. I have to open a panel called **Use the Computer Without a Display** and click\*\* Turn off Unnecessary Animations (when possible)\*\*. It’s like they think only blind people wouldn’t want animations that they can’t see anyway! Hey Bill and Bill’s cocksuckers, NOBODY WANTS THE STUPID ANIMATIONS, ESPECIALLY IF THEY CAN SEE THEM! Now the slides only vibrate half as long as they did before. The quarter-second vibration has been deemed necessary by the geniuses at Microbrains. ---

I really don’t understand why not supporting Israel wholeheartedly somehow equates to be un-American anyway. I’ll tell you what’s un-American - telling me what I can or can’t do! :mad: I will support whomever I like! that’s the beauty of living in this country! ---

Oh god. I once shared a room with a “morning person”. I swear, I wanted to straight up murder her. Do you remember in, I think it was All of Me, Steve Martin wakes up next to a girl who proceeds to do somersaults in the morning? That’s what this girl was like. I am not a cranky, evil person in the morning. I would however prefer that you leave me alone! As a result I get more work done in the morning than any other time. 😃 ---
