My supervisor acts like I am never ever supposed to make a mistake. Did she forget I am human? I was so close to saying this to her, “when I took this job I didn’t know I had to be perfect” ---

Goddamnyousomuch Comcast. Comcast On-Demand has settled into a permanent loop of commercials and won’t allow me to actually watch anything. ---

Well, if you forgot to put a cover sheet on your TPS report, that’s one thing. If you severely under- or over-drew someone’s account, added a zero to a payment check (big diff between a hundred and a thousand bucks) etc. then that’s a different matter. I have friends in the medical field. There is no such thing as a little mistake - any error could hurt or kill someone, so there’s no such thing as a mundane typo for them. This is Moving Weekend. I’m excited about where I’m moving (and with whom I’m moving in 😉 ) but this is something like the sixteenth or seventeenth move in my thirty-mumble years of life, and I’m so tired of living out of boxes and plastic storage tubs. ---

Why is it that when I’m the most tired and peopled out, I wind up sitting near Chatty Cathys on the bus or in line at Miniature Emperor Pizza? Couldn’t bring myself to ignore or tell them to leave me alone (didn’t want to be mean), but it’s really amazing how that works. ---

My knee goes out more than I do. I have no idea what I did to deserve this latest bout of pain. At least the last time it hurt this bad I had missed a step on the stairs so I could at least explain it. I haven’t done anything the last few days except make a Target run. ---
