Note to self: Do not pull up a couple of poison ivy plants with your bare hands, even if you immediately go indoors and soap and wash thoroughly 8 times. Two days later new rash foci are appearing. ☹ ---

I hate being asked for my ID when I use my credit card especially since I am a grown ass man. ---

They don’t care how old you are, they’re required to check that your face matches the picture on the ID, and that the signature on the card matches the one on the ID that has your face on it. ---

Different stores have different requirements for checking ID, depending on the contract they have with the credit card company. Those that do not check are probably paying higher costs related to fraud. ---

And while store policy dictates that cashiers must ask for your ID, there’s nothing that can make that cashier pay actual attention to what in their hand. Their job depends on asking for ID, they’ll ask for ID, glance at it and go on. Not a great way to stay employed, but will probably keep them there longer than not asking for it at all. ---

If you are paying with a card, yes. Or the cashier knows it’ll piss you off and just wants you out of the store for good. ---

Why the hell am I seeing a televised firework display in Boston and NYC? I live in south jersey and supposed to see Philly fireworks When the hell did a firework display in NYC become a national Event? ---

Dude, now I think you’re just pissed off at everything. (Fireworks, New York fireworks, cashiers not doing their jobs, cashiers doing their jobs, cashiers doing their jobs too well, people crying, people doing stuff other than crying, people that glare at you when you shake your fist in a coworker’s face and say “You keep crying, girlie, and I’ll give you something to cry about”…) ---

It was in a different thread that someone summerized your posts as “I don’t like you being the center of attention and your emotions annoy me. So I’ll display my own emotions (irritation, annoyance, anger) and make myself the center of attention instead”. You’re seriously defending your right to be unhappy? A couple people have given you free advice, and encouraging you to be less angry.
