Melin and I will be taking the boys to one of the museums, and then I’ll leave Melin at Marie’s to dine with y’all, since I have to take Eldest Son to a 6:30 call for the play he is in this weekend and next. Melin will be posting on Opal’s board looking for somebody who might give her a ride home afterwards. She says to say she isn’t sure yet what she’s going to wear. Whoever is making dinner reservations, remember we’ve established a tradition that all reservations are in the name of the “Cecil Adams party.” -Randy ---

Date: Saturday 22 July 2000 Museum goers: Time: 13:00 - 13:30 (1:00 PM - 1:30 PM) - meet in the plaza in front of the ticket office at LACMA. Museum visiting from 13:30 until museum closing time. I will come out again at 14:30 (2:30 P.M.) on the plaza to catch any latecomers. Drinkers and eaters: meet at Marie Callender’s on Wilshire at 17:30 (5:30 PM). I will check both threads tomorrow morning and call the restaurant for reservations. (They do take reservations.) I will make reservations for 13 under the name Cecil Adams.
