This can be simulated by putting a ball on the ground next time you telecommute on the train - watch it race towards the back as you take of, until it hits the back wall. It’ll now be moving at the same speed as the tain. You could then take it to your seat put it on the floor again, and it’d remain still until it races to hit the front when the train stops at the next station, not to meantion all the small changes in speed and corners.
