This thread emphasizes just how juvenile people on the board can be when it comes to dealing with our _ **volunteer** _ moderators. I mean, really, folks. It’s not worthy of 30 posts worth of discussion. I seriously think some people here would argue about almost anything. Probably including this opinion. 😛 ---

You know ------- as soon as I read the original thread I had a feeling this was going to end up here. 😉 A little marginal; I can see the arguments for both sides. In this case I would say it probably falls short but since there wasn’t a formal warning or anything I see it more as informational. A little more explanation in the original mod-post would have been nice. ---

But I tend to give more leeway with the OP of a thread trying to lay out desired parameters for discussion in the first post. That being said, the OP doesn’t get to actually _control_ the thread’s content any more than any other regular poster. ---

I was looking for clarification of the rules, as it appears pretty much everyone else was. I think it’s a worthwhile discussion, and not juvenile at all.
