They may have played for Lawrence Welk, but they were PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS. Of COURSE they new what ‘toke’ meant. 🙂

Another atheist who enjoys JCSS, Godspell, Dear God, Spirit in the Sky et al. Not only am I an atheist, but a minister’s kid who started refusing to go to church at age 7 and, yet, I also love that hymn “How Great Thou Art”, especially by Elvis Presley, but even by Carrie Underwood. Meanwhile it should make me think of blue haired old ladies wielding casseroles.
