It’s always good to have an informed voice of reason. 🙂 I was also going to deal with his “I’m am” analogy, but thought better of it, owing to the prevalence of ADHD around here. Rather than “I’m am going to the store,” a better analogy might be “I am myself going to the store.” I am neither condoning nor condemning the usage; however, I’m making the point that the construction does have some practical and useful purpose for which it is therefore redeemable. One is saying that he — despite something, or notwithstanding something — is going to the store. The super-plural second person is equally practical and useful, and so 'I’m am" as an analogy fails. ---

Nope. No goatee here. Either clean shaven, a bit of stubble, or the occaisional foray into growing a Great Cossack Beard. But never any attempt for a goatee. ETA: I’m on page three of the results, so far, and that’s the ONLY OtakuLoki that’s not me. ---

Holy cow - there are real live people (at least two of 'em) out there with my user name as their REAL NAME. I just picked it because it’s an anagram of my real name, and it sounds like a porn star. Can you imagine going through life with that as your actual name? ---
