Chikin enchiladas (OLÈ!) have been consumed with leftovers for both of us for N.O.L. so win-win! Got the remainder of my tax documents today. Rah. Guess I’ll go ahead and get that out of the way one day this week. Or not. Cursory glance says I broke even so no big rush. Then again, doin’ my taxes should take all of maybe an hour if I go reeeeeeeeeeal slooooooooooooow. ---

Dungeons and Dragons tonight, because I am just that nerdy. But I don’t really want to do it. There’s a big snow event and I’m hoping for everyone to cancel. I’m tired and stressed. Go away, people. If It was just me hosting, I would cancel, but **Sr. Weasel** is DM and he gets really excited about this stuff. ---

I am going to rant. Ranting follows; a friend of hubby that owns a farm up in Floridah somewhere sent a bag of red skinned N.O. Taters. We have used most of the five pound bag. Real good taters. Tonight I dumped the rest of the bag into the sink to peel so I could boil em up. There was at least a half cup of sandy soil in my sink. Now, if I were sending someone a gift of taters, I would wash the bastards first. I washed the dirt down the drain after peeling the little taters. Rant over. Anyone want to guess on the outcome of the Groundhog? I will go first. Six more weeks of winter. I have never known it to be different, ever. ---

Cool bands **doggio**! Mayday tends towards more traditional Celtic music, but I could see them bringing in talent like that. **Mooooom** , the facilities coordinator at my irkplace orders all of that kind of stuff delivered. While I can see why **butters** would shop for her irkplace (location), the nice folks from the vending company stocks our beverage service areas in addition to the vending machines (we have free coffee and tea available). Welcome back **flipper**! Irk was irksome. I’m whittling the usual month end crap down, but am behind on project irk. Fortunately, some of the admin stuff is going to the weekend guy (he made the fatal mistake reasoning his internet use because there was downtime on his shift when our new manager came on board, so I took his boss’ offer up to have him do it. 😃 ), so that will give me about five more hours a week to get stuff done. 'Tis cold again. I’m so done with winter. ---

Back in November we wouldn’t have been fussy about even that. I don’t remember if I mentioned it here but once I was offered a transfer to Manchester England. Would have been a helluva commute but it isn’t the dumbest e-mail I’ve gotten from our HR by a long shot. Warehouses, for us, are kinda a crap shoot. Some really can be great places to start and move up or just hang around for a while and collect some extra money. I believe that one could be PHIL 5 and I don’t know anyone there real well. AVP up Hazleton is a pretty good place to be. Whatever you do though, avoid the fulfillment centers. I’ve spent enough time IRL with you to know that THAT one would be a body count looking for a place to happen. There are people who like working FCs ------- there are also people who like having nails driven through their flesh and being beaten by whips and chains. I don’t think it would be good for you.
