Today, my sister (who lives in Nevada, while I live in Virginia) posted on her LiveJournal that her roommate has gotten into the hard drugs like heroin, and will be leaving to try and get clean in Nevada. Remembering an incident with her previous roommate, I asked Laura what steps she’ll be taking to ensure that her roommate doesn’t just sell Laura’s new XBox for drugs. She said she’ll hide it while she’s not home. ---

Went to the doctor with what we both thought was a cold. But now, hours later, I think I have bronchitis. Again. (I’ll spare you the details of why I think I have it. Yuck.) Gonna try to get a clinic appointment for tomorrow with this new info. ---

I’ve been home less than an hour and the outside temp has dropped almost 3° - no clue what the windchill is, but it’s freekin’ cold out there!!! I was gonna do sketties for supper but \*\*FCD \*\*wasn’t interested so he’s getting a couple of brats and I haven’t decided what I’ll have. I’m hungry, but nothing appeals. Worst case, I’ll have a bowl of cereal. And it’s only Tuesday!!! _\_ ---

We supped upon curried pork with sweet N.O.T., and bell pepper served over rice. Nummy and comfortin’ on what turned out to be a chilly day due mostly in part to wind. **Nut** I know what you mean. It’s only six-thirty in the p.m. here and I feel like I could go to sleep and sleep twelve hours, which wouldn’t be the case because I’d wake up at twelve-thirty in the a.m. and be wide awake. Gonna hang in there a couple more hours at least. ---

**{{{emily}}}** Feel better soonest! Winter is back. ☹ My apartment complex has the side yard on my end of the building and the one across the drive dug up. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s because of a water main leak. While walking the dog, I’ve noticed a stip of ground with vegetation that was yellow like plants that are overwatered. I’ll ask the manager when I drop off the rent Thursday. Such an exciting life in middle Tennessee. ---

I took my cat Atilla to the vet today and ended up leaving him overnight. He’s almost twelve and has been losing weight. His litter box behavior is irregular(I’m trying to not be gross) and he’s been sic to his stomach a few times. Other than that he moves around easily and doesn’t seem to be unhappy. I’d not fed him, in case the vet wanted to do fasting tests. Now the vet wants to do some other stuff early in the morning, so I left my baby there. Atilla is a good cat, he was born of a feral mother in my own back yard, and spent his first weeks with mom and sibs on the back porch. Keep your fingers crossed for him, will you? ---

There is some sort of virus going around Da Jungle that mimics flu but has a more infection aspect; Doc Liz says that is why brought on the respiratory infection and issues I had just after Christmas. Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 28 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 61 and N.O.S. for the day. Today is geezer day at the Pubic Sto’ so I shall go for provisions. I took skettie sauce outta da freezer last night so we shall sup upon sketties and meatballs, sallit and garlic bread this evenin’. I got me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for sketties and meatballs. **{{{Cupcakes and Attila}}}** here’s hopin’ kitty doc finds out what’s goin’ on and Attila is all better soonest. **{{{sunny}}}** hope you’re feelin’ better today. **{{{Midget}}}** get well soonest. What an awful night! Tough falling asleep, tossing and turning, waking several times, plus \*\*FCD \*\*had gawd-awful breath from the brats-n-onions (\*\*Spidey \*\*- hah - brats!!) that he had for supper. Ergo, I’m dragging this morning. No ice here, but cold, so still winter. Except for tomorrow, when it’s supposed to get into the mid-50s, over the next 10 days, it’s forecast to be at or below normal temps. I am not amused. C’mon, Firday!!! Happy Wednesday, I guess. ---

Happy Hump Day! It’s a still dark 16 degrees outside. Thorsday is supposed to get warm, but it is also supposed to rain. Then we have snow predicted for Sunday. I woke at 4, damn bladder, and couldn’t get back to sleep even though I am very sleepy. Sketties sound good. I woke up hungry and thought then that it sounded good. However, I’m not getting up at 4am to make it. Although really no reason why I shouldn’t, it’s not like I am going to disturb anybody. I may make some or not, I have leftovers in the fridge that I need to finish up before I go creating more leftovers. **Flytrap** - you’d think they’d do the inspections before the season starts but it always seems to be after it starts. Since they are free as partof the service contract I won’t complain. I hope you {{{ **sickies** }}} human or otherwise feel better soon.
