You guys don’t know how good you got it, at least your soundtracks are **only make believe** and entirely in your head. My Mom is on some sentimental Conway Twitty jag today and I am forced (no escape, no egress) to listen to the best of Conway Twitty in constant rotation. The very definition of going out of my mind is hearing Conway’s Russian version of _Hello Darlin’ (Privet Radost)_\* for the third time in so many hours. \*Seems he recorded the Russian version for an Apollo-Soyuz mission in 1975 and it was played in outer space. ---

BTW I played in a country/country rock band up and down the east coast for a few years. When “Swangin” was on the charts we had to do it twice a night at least because of requests. The same goes for “I wanna Bop with you Baby” by Dan Seals and of course the infamous, Achy Breaky Heart. Sheesh Elvira, Swangin, Achy Breaky Heart and a couple of others made it into a medley we announced as “Obnoxious SOngs that Made it” ---

Dr. Hook did hit the Country Top 100 (several times), but not with that song. ---
