Just finished building a lasagna for tomorrow’s dinner - it will be yummerrific! Can’t believe it’s dark at 8… that’s the only bad part about autumn. But the loverly weather makes up for it. It was mid 50s when I woke up, and stayed in the low 70s all day. Absolutely glorious!!! So, doggone it, why isn’t it Firday?? ---

Hmm…here’s some TMI, from my work place, no less! One of our student temps consistently includes TMI in her leave requests, etc. (going to the GYN for my yearly check up … :eek:), and she’s been asked, gently, to refrain from too many details, but today she crossed the line again: in an email, she told us that she’d thrown up in her trash can at her desk, and was headed to the emergency room to find out what caused it! :eek: :eek: I wasn’t at work today, but the poor dude who pulls the trash got a most unpleasant surprise today, I suspect. Nasty! We have four student temps at work, and all of them are college students who have been sick in the past several weeks. I do hope it’s not the swine flu. I’m feeling some better tonight, although not completely back to normal. I gotta head back to work tomorrow. Well, that’s just nasty. I made a great dinner, if I do say so myself. I was concerned that I put too much garlic in the chicken, but I could hardly taste it. I will increase it. I have leftovers (food of the gods, leftovers), so my lunch tomorrow is taken care of. I can’t decide what to wear for my first Official Day as THE Librarian. Skirt or slacks? Survey says…\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_. ---

Checking thread. Read all, retained little. Did not separate ass from bed until 1:30, then spent all afternoon munching a sandwich and running into a lot of my commuter friends by sheer coincidence. Spent the evening mucking around w/ Civ IV, installing mods to turn it into a Dark Fantasy game… Seems cool but I’m having issues getting multiplayer to work. Bedtime soon. Must fix horribly broken sleep schedule. ---

I s’pose this isn’t the way to make myself welcome in the MMP, but I have a confession to make. I found and ate an entire bag of peanut M&Ms and they were really, really, really good…errr… not worthy of my fellow choco-holic-mumpers. I’ll let you know if I find another bag. ---
