What I find amusing is that in standard straightdope style a good quarter to a third of posts in this thread about cutting office supplies have somehow become about bashing Christianity because of an offhand comment made by **kanicbird**. ---

I agree it’s a shame when somebody like kanicbird comes along and attempts to hijack a thread with an off-topic post about their religious beliefs. But I don’t think we should condemn all Christians because of his (or her) actions.
