Hi, I’m new here, just came across this site and thought why not, so here’s my (not so boring I promise) story. I’m french, last year I went in Italy for a semester to study, and I met an Australian girl, we became really close until I drunk kissed her on Saint Patrick’s night, she did not rejected me although she was 200% sober. Then we started dating and it was so awesome. I have a pretty bad history with the girls I’ve been dating, and it has nothing to do with that, she treated me so well and we were really in love. Then the semester ended in July and I had to go back to France, while she would stay in Italy for another semester. We met at a music festival in Belgium and then three weeks we’ve spent travelling across France together, and of course it was amazing. Then we decided since we would live at 1k km (621miles) from each other it would be better to leave the romantic aspect of our relationship behind. But then we said fuck it bc the plane tickets were cheap so let’s do it, and started dating again, seeing each other almost two weeks every month. Then in late december she came in France bc she was done with her exams, we spent christmas at my parents’, new year’s eve in Paris, went to Disneyland, then left for Bordeaux where I live bc I had my exam, we also spent a couple of days in Amsterdam after that. And one week ago, after nearly one year of what has been so great, she went back to Australia in I’ve been feeling so down ever since. I just can’t stand being alone in my appartement, it’s pretty pathetic. Sorry for the long post, I just needed to take this out of my system and that’s what internet is for right? Any support, messages, similar stories, contributions would be grantly welcomed. Love you guys. ---

Can you get Skype? Do you have her number? The relationship is probably over because of the distance and your both still in school but maybe you guys can have a final formal goodbye and get some closure. ---
