Just called Comcast to add the "redzone channel" before the NFL season starts

I get the Red Zone for ‘free’. That’s because it’s part of an expensive package. I don’t know if it’s offered separately. It’s worth it. If I want to watch football I can watch football instead of commercials.

My two issues with the Redzone

1. No type of highlight segment when all the games at 1pm are at halftime.

2. No type of postgame highlight show once all the games are completed at 7pm.

They have some halftime highlights, there’s just a lot of games and it goes by fast. Turn to Sportscenter when it’s over if you want wrap ups.

ESPN doesn’t show highlights until Monday afternoon and who cares about them by that time? lol

Well here in PA it’s not an option. That’s why on the bill it says “Xfinity Bundled Services”

It says bundled services because you have a bundle. If you don’t want a bundle, you don’t have to have one. I’m looking at it right now and there are 5 different internet only plans available to me in PA.

I rarely care about them at all. I watch the Red Zone because I get to see everything. I record it, it’s on the TV and recording right now, and if I don’t see it live i can go back and watch again. YMMV.

They want you to switch to NFL Network for those things. Besides, there isn’t that much time between when the last 1 PM game reaches halftime and the first second-half kickoff.

That’s when I switch over to the Sunday Night Football pre-game show on NBC, and they show highlights. The timing is usually perfect.
