In the wee hours of Election Night, when the outcome became indisputable, when the howling of the defeated – **Dio** , have you come down from the ceiling yet? – collided with the gloating of the winners – **Bricker** , are you still proud of yourself? – one Doper stood out. One Doper often dismissed as a right-wing tool with a talking-points memo where his brain should be. One Doper who, alas, tends to live down to that image when he gets too riled by a debate. Good points, all. But again I say, rant if you must, but stop with the personal insults. Well, maybe they have stopped by now; I’ve been out all day. But certain things were said that didn’t have to be said, and they upset me, so I started this thread. ---
