# Just checking

Although I did notice that the description of this forum no longer includes the bit about this being the place for tests, I hope this is the place for it.

I guess I can now post as a guest.

Is this here to stay? What else has changed? What should I read to catch up with the new and improved sdmb?

What can’t I do as a guest that I could as a member? search? edit?

Yes, this is still the place for test posts.

Jerry is currently working all the bugs out of the software so guests may not have the full complement of priveleges yet but ultimately you’ll have what you should.

The difference between guests and members is that subscribing members do not see display ads; guests see the full panoply of advertising.

Great, a lifetime of internet use has made me blind to advertising.

Are there any major rule changes that I should be aware off? (since january)
