GF’s have noticed that I have high feet arches before, and mentioned it to me, but I never paid it much attention. But now I’m reading online that this might be the reason why it always hurt/was uncomfortable for me to stand for more than 5 minutes at a time, or why it really hurt to walk for more than 30 minutes. lol. Anyway, I just bought some arch support inserts and it seems to help quite a bit so far, although my knees are objecting a little but to the change in the status quo. So if you think you might have high-arched feet - check out some inserts! ---

After smashing my left heel a few years ago I developed plantar fasciitis in both feet, making standing (much less walking) painful. Ended up getting arch support orthotics from the podiatrist. All the difference in the world.
