Just saw the news: someone opened fire upon 27 Amish students in Lancaster county, PA. All 27 are dead. Conflicting reports of the shooter being in custody, or he turned the gun on himself. ☹ ---

You may be right, but [CNN](http://edition.cnn.com/2006/US/10/02/amish.shooting/index.html) is currently simply saying that “No other details were available”. (Since that’s a live link, it might contradict me if you wait long enough). ---

The teachers and community won’t fight back even if they have the option. ---

According to the latest CCN Breaking News, the shooter let the male students leave, then bound and shot the female students. That is just sick, sick, sick. ---

CNN had reported that this was in revenge for something that had happened 20 years earlier. No details about what that was at this point. He would’ve been 12 at that point. ---
