Nothing in my pockets, but wallet had a 1999 10 cent coin. Euro coins are all pretty new so checking their age is boring but seeing what country they are from can be fun. ---

Not technically in my pocket as I just swapped jeans, but it was this afternoon. A 1995 Australian $1 coin. I imagine I have a lot of older coins in my shrapnel jar, but I ain’t searching through that, which goes against the spirit of the OP anyway. ---

I’m surprised because euros weren’t yet circulating at the time. Also, a 50 cents Portuguese coin has no date at all. ---

Nothing in my pockets but the small batch of change in my desk drawer (where my pocket change winds up) has a 1961 penny in it. ---

I have no change in my pockets. If I have any coins at the end of the day, I put them in a piggy bank. When that’s full, I bring it to the coin counting machine in the supermarket, and donate the contents to a charity. Many years ago, I found an Indian head penny in my change. I thought that was pretty cool – still have it around somewhere. ---

lounging today, no pockets, yesterday however, when I emptied my pockets at the end of the day, I found I had €.01. Kind of a neat addition to my collection of pfennigs, half sheckels and assorted Asian coinage I’ve collected over the years.
