As any regular reader knows, I’ve been bitching about the status of the boards, and have made my feelings known to TPTB. Ben Eason extended the courtesy to respond and solicited feedback once Ed and Jerry finish what they are doing. ---

Sorry for my ignorance, but who is **Ben Eason**? OK, I just googled his name and I see he is the CEO of Creative Loafing. So my next question, where did you get the information that he extended the courtesy to respond and solicited feedback once Ed and Jerry finish what they are doing? Was it via a thread or via Email? Some of us went to the top with our concerns via email and received replies today. It sounds like Creative Loathing is concerned about The Straight Dope and if the Straight Dope does collapse, it won’t be from lack of attention from the owners. Personally, I’m pretty pleased. ---

[/QUOTE] I took a chance and e-mailed Ben Eason a few months back when the last brouhaha over ads was going on. It took him a while to respond personally, but he did, and in a refreshingly candid and appreciative manner. I feel safe in saying that he welcomes feedback a matter of policy. ---
