I would like to point out that many models of Toyota are assembled in part or mostly in the US, so if you buy one of those models you are still helping to keep your fellow citizens in a job.
In fact, the last Ford car I bought was built in Korea - wow, that helped my neighbors (not). You need to look past the company name and find out where the vehicle was really built. I’d rather buy a Toyota built by Americans than a Ford built in Korea or Mexico.
