And the best line of Super Troopers will forever be “I’m gonna butter your bread!” ---

My wife has a fairly low tolerance for stupid movies. She was laughing so hard at the “Shenanigans” scene, she actually fell off the couch. Honest. IMDB claims that the old couple in the “Chicken Fucker” scene were played by Kevin (Farva) Heffernan’s parents. They knew that Farva was going to say something rude, but didn’t know what. ---

It’s not like a classic comedy that is also a great movie (like 40 Year Old Virgin, or Lebowski), but it’s got lots of great, memorable gags. I’d recommend _Idiocracy_ to anyone who liked this. _Club Dread_ was terrible. Haven’t seen \*Beerfest \* yet. ---

Super Troopers is easily the best of their three major films. (They had an earlier effort, Puddle Cruiser(?), that I’ve never seen.) Beerfest comes close to catching the magic that was Super Troopers, and is worth a watch. Club Dread was, sadly, mediocre. I think the element that killed it was that the guys were all antagonistic towards one another, instead of having the buddy schtick from Super Troopers going on. ---

“them boys get that syrup in em and they get all antsy in the pantsy.” And I believe the shit turns purple and it _stinks_ like sex - not that I’ve seen the movie way too many times or anything. Another vote for beerfest, if you haven’t seen it. Like others have said, not quite as good as ST, but worth a watch. ---

CANDY BARS! God, I love this movie so much. _Beerfest_ is really good but not on the same level. A few really memorable scenes, though, like the German beer-drinking team’s training sequence. _Club Dred_ was just a total letdown. _Puddle Cruisers_ is kind of mediocre, but it was their first movie and worth checking out. ---

I liked _Super Troopers_, but the first ten minutes are the funniest part of the movie. Haven’t seen _Beerfest_ yet; but if Broken Lizard ever really get the right pacing for a full-length movie, they’ll be great. Y’all drive safely meow.
