One of the warmup bouts for his next fight will feature Tonya Harding. Whhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I’m speechless. I actually had a quasi-decent rant built up, but all of the air has been taken out of it. The only thing that could bring Tyson’s fight any lower would be if Carrot-Top was fighting in a Loser Leaves Town Match. Of course, millions of 1/8th wits are going to pony up $39.95 for the Pay-per-View. Morons. ---

I find it almost laughable that you actually think even the Tonyanator could bring Tyson’s status any lower. Hell, you could have Tonya fighting, with Michael Jackson’s nose ringside, Joey Buttafuco doing color commentary, and Roseanne Barr singing the national anthem and it still couldn’t make Tyson more of a caricature than he already is. ---

Since when has Tyson been responsible for the lower card? If anything, blame the promoters. I personally see it as a very smart move by them. Plenty of people are going to pony up the bucks in the hope of seeing Tonya Harding get punched several times in the face. Sad fact of life. BTW, I do think tyson is a dispicable rat-bastard, but lay the blame at the feet of who is really responsible. ---

Actually, and I cringe when I say this, I saw Tyson on a news show tonight and he sounded fairly sane. (Note, I posted a thread about Vargas using Tyson as a character witness. I couldn’t think of a worse person for Vargas to use) I didn’t see all of it but what I caught made me think that Tyson is actually taking meds that work for him now. What I did see was this: Tyson: “The Lewis fight made me feel really clean. I felt terrified. I don’t know if he whipped my [bleep] and baptized me at the same time” (Note not verbatum) and Tyson: “I’m tired of being stupid”. Tyson seemed, from what I saw at least, to be happy and didn’t throw a fit. He was in a suit and tie. It looked to me like he is actually getting his stuff together. But it is Tyson so if he goes nuts again I won’t be suprised. If Tyson is actually getting his shit together I wish him well. It was obvious for a long time that he has serious problems. If he goes back to his old shit I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire. Slee ---
