# Just why \*don't\* people like David Caruso?

Yeah, it’s sort of a package deal that is hard to convey on the boards. Needs the real-life impersonation.

You have to stand, slouch like a vulture, take off your sunglassess, tilt your head sideways, sigh, and say:  
“(slowly) Baaaaah-ob… Tell me… how is it (preganant pause) that _your_ blood was in _her_ car? (quickly while leaning over suspects shoulder) You moved her body. Isn’t that right?”

The writers supply the dialogue, he supplies the delivery.

It’s nice that he’s so east to immitate though. A laugh-riot at parties.

Addendum: I do find his non-_CSI_ performances to be non-goony. He’s a decent actor, generally. (Not outstanding, but decent IMHO.)

For me, it’s just 'cause he’s so ugly. I like my tv and movie stars to be good-looking.

I second **Jurph’s** mention of his role in **Proof of Life**. He was a surprise to me in that and did it very well.

Haven’t seen NYPD in years or CSI ever, so I offer no comment.
