Yes. Some of DC movies seem almost embarrassed by the source material. I’m glad with Aquaman and the more recent films they’ve lightened up a bit. I did like Man of Steel though.
Silver Age Flash had an “aura”.
Don’t forget, if Flash (even early versions thereof) notices a bullet coming at him, he can vibrate until it passes through him.
Barry Allen did a lot of vibrating in the 70s. I remember him running on water and through buildings and blurring his features and all sorts of “vibro-tricks”…
When I was growing up Spider-Man and Flash were my favorite super heroes. SM because of the cheesey-but-great cartoon and Flash…I dunno why. I think I had one or two of his comics.
I had no interest in Supes. Still don’t.
In other words, he was … a psychopath?
