JW Faith - Cold, Hard Facts, no Preaching please

No ‘perhaps’ about it. I own a copy. The CD is called “The Watchtower Library” if you want to order it. My copy is titled “The Watchtower Library 1997”. I assume a new edition is released every year. The CD number is cdly97-E if you are interested in finding it. It was offered to me by a doorknocker in a publications list. It is freely avaialable from any church member. Just ask for one. So much for your claim that it is ‘only avialable to members’. It was about as hard to find as my copy of the Hare Krisna copy of the Bhagavad ghita that I bought off a monk on a street corner.
The “Watchtowr Library” CD is so secret that this firm (http://nitsuaenterprises.com/strwtlib/) produces add ons for it.

This firm ( http://iemobile.com/mwtlib.htm ) is producing a palm pilot version.

Here is the Google page produced when a basic search is done on the CD ( http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&as_qdr=all&q=+CD+"watchtower+library+"&meta=lr%3Dlang_en )

Real secret stuff.

And on the basis of not receiveing a response you decided to state on these boards that they are a secret publication unavailable to non-members. I assume you just got no response since I find it hard to believe you recieved a form letter stating that he CD is only available to members.

This is GQ, it’s a place for factual answers, not religious debates. If oyu wnat one of those go to GD. The OP aske for a refernce source. That has been basically answered. You posted inofrmation that I to be the result of ignorance on your part. I corrected that.

I would like only one reference from you: a reference that the “Watchtower Library” CD is “available only to JW’s”. It contradicts what I know to be true. Can you support that assertion at all with any reliable evidence?

I do not a have an official reference for such a policy. It’s based on my personal experience. Would you kindly return that portion of my ass,now please?

Agreed, this is the place for factual answers.Thank you for correcting my ignorance. Would providing a cite of the original text followed by a cite with the changed text not constitute factual?

It would be irrelevant. We are not having a religious debate or a debate on the veracity of the CD. The OP wanted information on reliable sources of info about JW beliefs. You may or may not have evidence of an unreliable source: ie it it is either an unrelaible source or untrue. As such it’ s a hijack of this thread.

Since these boards are about fighting ignorance I would like only one reference from you: a reference that the “Watchtower Library” CD is “available only to JW’s”. It contradicts what I know to be true. Can you support that assertion with any reliable evidence?
