### [Does Kamala have a plan to win the election?](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/does-kamala-have-a-plan-to-win-the-election/1007521) I think she does, and every move is calculated to that end. I notice some complaints about her not being willing to talk to the media (among other things). I think Trump’s side think she’s “winging it.” Whether it’s an effective plan we’ll find out in November. I can only hope {and vote, of course). ---

FWIW, Nate Silver’s right-now analysis of the general election has re-installed Kamala Harris as the favorite by a hair. Silver does straight-up say “the race is a toss-up”, but still – better than him talking about Trump’s second presidency as a done deal (_oh, yes he does … just very obliquely:_ “Should’ve picked Shapiro!”). ---

I haven’t heard it. But my opinion is that the more time Kamala Harris spends with Oprah, the less seriously voters will take her. (Harris, that is.) We have a monumentally important election to win here, and time is short. ---

That was when Oprah asked her about owning a gun. Of course with secret service one would get shot if they tried to get in her residence. Before becoming vp she was a prosecutor and no doubt got quite a few threats. ---
