So, if he rapes me and I’m barren, is that a sin? I’m confused on that issue. (My dad thinks gay people shouldn’t be allowed to get married 'cause marriage is for having kids, although my mother is his second wife and he married her knowing he couldn’t have kids. I was a miraculous accident.) ---

As others have mentioned, getting into a debate with \*\*kanicbird \*\*seems to be a Rite of Passage here on the Dope. Many of us have done it, under the illusion that we can reason our way with him, present some kind of airtight logical argument that will finally get through to him. And all of us have met up with a brick wall that allows no logic. Yes I know, we have all been made to think that if you can just find the most logical, rational, reasonable argument you can persuade any opponent of anything. But whoever told you that never debated with **kanicbird**. Rational arguments just roll off him like water off a duck’s back. Welcome to the club. You’re one of us now. ---

Nah, I don’t think you need to ignore or censure **kanicbird** - you pretty much know exactly what you’re getting and can interact with him on that basis. ---

I’m guessing that that would be true even if they revealed their game promptly. And besides, though kanicbird hasn’t responded to this thread, it’s likely that he has read it, and would be tipped off. So let’s frame it diiferently. Suppose someone spontaneously tried this IRL.
