And the whole comment about demons is disgusting. This all started in a thread where **Crafter\_Man** told us about his in-laws scaring his kids with stories about demons and hellfire-which **Kanicbird** approved of.

I have to agree with you **Guinastasia** about the demons and hell thing used to scare kids. For

So, the 613 _mitzvot_ that someone gave to Moses and that Moses offered to the Israelites as the edicts of God, recorded carefully in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, were really something implemented on earth by _fallen_ angels? Moses lied to us?
You have a very weird way of showing your appreciation to the author of the universe.

Well, there is a hell, I think-but it’s right here on earth. I say that as someone who suffered from depression-I can’t imagine having to go through that again. THAT was hell for me.

That and anyone who has tried to debate **lekatt** can’t possibly deny that there’s a hell.

Thank you for your further comments.

As mentioned above, I’m a buddhist, so your comments about non-gods are quite accurate. It shows a spirit of ecumenicalism that you knew that much about buddhism, for which I commend you. 😃

I don’t think that I can significantly influence your beliefs, just as I know your comments won’t influence mine at this time. I understand your desire for certainty - perhaps I am more comfortable with uncertainty. I hope that if you ever find yourself questioning your beliefs, that you come to the Dope and open a thread - I’ll be happy to participate - and should I find myself needing to know more about your religion, I will do the same.

That said, I suggest that you consider participating in the discourse of the dope with less emphasis on your beliefs, or at least some other insights from your life, else the constant beating of the same drum will again produce accusations of trolling.

The truth is that it can be proven that humans wrote the Bble, called it the word of God,said it was inspired by God . You cannot prove God wrote, said anything or even exists. It is all based on what you believe so the lie is not mine.

How can you prove that God did not talk to Muhammed but talks to you? You are intitled to you beliefs but that is no proof.

God does not want robots, I don’t think He could Love them as much as us. Also robots could not Love God as we do once we come back to Him. Through this life He teaches us what Love really is.

Your point is contradictory,A God of Love woud not create a monster, and if you can call His children monsters, you better reflect on your translation of what love is.

The Word states put into effect by angles, I would assume fallen, though the Word does not specify, but with God as the mediator (between angles and men), so God would have been the one to physically give us the law. A way to look at it is God was limiting what the fallen angels could do to us since we fell into their hands via the fall, He negotiated the laws for us with them on our behalf.

[QUOTE=Galatians 3:19]

What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was put into effect through angels by a mediator.

By “The Word”, are you referring to the Bible, and if so, which one?
If, by “The Word”, you are referring to your use of whatever Bible suits your needs at the time combined with whatever voices you hear in your head, I would prefer you didn’t cite it as any sort of source because we have no way of knowing which Bible your are referring to at the time and we _certainly_ aren’t privy to the voices in your head.

The Word is God and available to everyone who seeks Him, the Word speaks to our hearts through the scriptures. As for version, it is almost irrelevant, though there are some ones that are intentionally corrupted.

If a God of Love would not create a monster then He would not have created you or me, Your premise is incorrect, a God of Love would create a monster if He can bring that Monster into His Love and transform that monster. That is Love.

This is not scriptural in any way. It is more stuff you make up to defend your odd personal beliefs, (for which you will go back and cherry pick verses out of context in your defense).

This is amusing, but I hope you realize that you are chasing more people from God than you are leading to Him with your tortured logic and improbable beliefs.

Based on Proverbs 30:6, Rev 22:18,19, Deut 4:2, 12:32 any version that changes what God said is corrupted, Some versions state in their premise that they have changed what God has said because they assume God meant something else, One such version is the CEV, which has many such corruptions, the big one is stated in the premise:

> [@](#):
>
> The CEV is very careful to steer readers away from the “sexist” interpretations found in all English Bibles prior to their generation. Besides the regular use of the new gender-neutral language (e.g. avoiding translation of “man” and “he” in thousands of places), it features many dubious renderings that obscure the teachings of the Bible concerning the role of women in the family.

From [Contemporary English Version](http://www.bible-researcher.com/cev.html)

Which while worded in a positive sounding way is basically saying that God didn’t know what He was talking about, or words were not invented yet when God revealed His truth, so we are modifying it, because we know better.

The CEV is the 1st version that the Lord pointed out to me is corrupted, and He gave me Gen 3:22 as a check to verify if the translation is corrupted.

Then just say “God”, o.k.? Of course, if you are going to quote your god as a source, the proper thing to do each time would be to either let us know which version of the Bible you are referring to at that time, or tell us that the source is voices in your head. This way, we don’t waste a lot of time trying to look up whatever it is you are saying at the time.

There are Christians who believe that the KJV is the only true, accepted Word. There are some that believe anything called a version is incorrect, which knocks out the NIV.

Right now, I’m really confused here. And that’s difficult to do when it comes to my personal faith issues. God speaks to me, too, but it’s not a voice in my head. It’s a feeling. It may be the joy in my surroundings: like being outside in the sunshine. Various things like that. But meditation does the same thing for some: yoga for others: various things/activities make people feel closer to their higher power.
