Yeah, I’m guessing cocaine.

I guess. When stars start being behaviorally erratic you always hear all this speculation about “psychological issues” and then years later all comes out it was all just massive drug abuse of some kind or another.

Drug abuse and psychological issues are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they’re probably found together more often than most people realize.

Well… not drug abuse (as such) but Rx drugs.

Celebrities sue.

Actually, the “massive be drug abuse” is usually an attempt to self medicate. And the illness is psychiatric moreso than psychological. Drug abuse is a symptom for many celebrities, often because it’s so easy for celebrities to get their hands on it. But most of the time, there is a real, diagnosable DSM-V mental illness at the root of it.

But, in this case it wasn’t drug abuse, although arguably it was improper use of prescription drugs. Given that he reportedly freaked out over his wife being robbed it probably didn’t help his mental state at all, leading to him getting careless with his meds.

It must really suck to have a diagnosed mental health issue _and_ be constantly in the public eye.
