It’s interesting how Zacharia has seemed to have a little more background than Leavitt, having worked with Pepperdine presidents, White House Office of Public Affairs and assistant secretary of homeland security. But she’ll still probably be contending with journalists rather than building rapport with them. ---

I see Trump has upgraded his “Barbie: Press Secretary Edition” mold with the 2026 model. I guess the Leavitt mold was showing some scuff marks. ---

We all know what happened. The family line was BS. She was just pissed she wasn’t as close as she thought she was to Trump when she was left on AF1. At the same time, you don’t just quit a job like that without having a convenient excuse. And it didn’t take her long to line up a new job. ---
