No, there was no good reason for Kasparov to accept a draw in game 6. He had the slightly better position in an opening system in which he is one of the world’s leading experts (if not the world’s leading expert, period). He had no real losing chances, and at worst for Kasparov, the machine would have had to come up with a very strong defense to save the game with a draw. A dissapointing decision by Kasparov to agree to a draw, to say the least.
