I like Kate Bush but understand some of the objections here, but then I remember that she was smart enough to have Prince play guitar on _Why Should I Love You?_ and I forget why we are having this conversation. ---

Seeing this rekindles my faith in the HOF. As was mentioned upthread it’s more encompassing than guitar-based R&R and Kate’s influence, even if folks find her music… esoteric, is profound. She was discovered by David Gilmour, and is really IMO a multimedia artist (music, dancing, and visual). Seeing the video for “Babooshka” as a prepubescent teen, er, was quite… influential. So many great songs.
