They’ve been reporting on the radio in Bangkok this morning that Kate Middleton is officially pregnant. Six weeks. But no mention on BBC TV, and all I can find online are rumors stretching back months. Anyone else hear this? ---

If you search on ‘Duchess Cambridge pregnant’ you’ll find plenty of links to rumours of the “she didn’t eat anything at lunch yesterday, she must be pregnant” kind. She may or may not be. If she is, there’s certainly not going to be any official confirmation until she’s well into her pregnancy. ---

The radio lady was saying it’s been officially announced now. Something tells me she was whooshed. ---

I don’t think it’s official, but the thing I read made a big deal of the fact that she toured a facility that makes peanut butter supplements to feed starving refugees, and she was offered one and refused. Supposedly it is something pregnant women are supposed to avoid. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true. ---

The latest I heard was she also turned down champagne and touched her stomach 20 times in 12 minutes or something like that. I wish they’d leave those poor kids alone. ---

I saw the video of her touching her stomach and it seemed so deliberate. I really really hope that not only is she not pregnant she’s doing this on purpose to screw with the press. While watching the video I had this vision of her and Wills watching the news coverage and giggling over a bottle of wine. ---

I wish they’d stop calling her “Kate Middleton.” Why can’t they just call her “the Duchess of Cambridge,” or “Princess Kate” if they don’t want to call her “Princess Catherine”? Her name is not Kate Middleton! There was a story the other day about how Prince Charles was supposed to host some thing somewhere but was called away suddenly, so they asked Kate to fill in, and she did a fine job, especially at such short notice, and everyone oo’ed and ah’ed over her performance. Like she’s some dumb kid who’s never done anything in her life before. Gee whiz! :mad: ---

I don’t understand why they’d announce her pregnancy at six weeks. I doubt it’s a true report. btw, if I have my period and have bad cramps, I touch my abdomen a lot too. ---

If it’s twins, I suppose it’s the first one out of the chute that counts in terms of future monarch? Or maybe one will pull an Elvis and strangle the other in the womb. ---

I have it on very good authority (i.e. pulled from thin air on a whim) that she’s actually pregnant with quadruplets. Give her a break. ---
