A generous interpretation would be that you’ve misunderstood something, but the fact is, rather than asking me to clarify, all you’ve done so far is to demand explanations on the basis of your own mistaken assumptions. I’ll clarify, anyway: It’s not about reading minds but observing actions, as stated in my posts. I’ve got nothing against appreciating women for their beauty, as indicated in my first post. My posts do not mention “admiring glances” but outright gawking. It makes absolutely no sense to say that you’re exercising your imagination because the only thing you know about what happened is what you’ve read in my posts. It sounds like you were paying more attention to the girl’s ass in front of you (and how people reacted to what you’d already noticed) than anybody else in that subway tunnel. ---

I look at good-looking girls and women all the time, and fairly often turn my head as they pass me on the street. I _don’t_, however, compliment their bodies, and wouldn’t dream of ever doing so. The only exception being my girlfriend, who gets plenty of compliments. I think this puts me firmly in the mainstream, right? Most men function like that, no? ---

Yep, most men won’t actually say stuff- but think how many guys pass you in an hour on the street, what proportion does it take to yell ‘compliments’ at you before you feel utterly creeped out? Under 1% will do it, especially as some of them are happy to, for example, drive a few hundred yards next to a 14 year old walking to school in uniform shouting ‘compliments’ about her tits and legs out of the window. ---

I think a lot of guys do the sexual harassment thing because it works. Probably less so these days, but I’ve certainly witnessed plenty of episodes (as an introverted guy, and I’m not trying to make this into one of those “Nice Guy” laments) of the bold and forward (yes, often explicitly sexual) dudes- the kind that will stop and ogle, make comments- “getting the girl.” OT: This reminds me of the time I was accused of sexual harassment when I was 5, because I went to see if my friend wanted to play and his mom happened to be changing in the window as I walked past. More on-topic (but perhaps sexist): Maybe she could see about trading 1/2 of them in for a waist. ---
