# Katrina casualty lists?

Are there any casualty lists for Katrina yet? I know that only a small percentage of the dead will have been identified – or even found – but some will have been. There are people I’m hoping are not on them and it would be good to check.

The CNN page is not found.

Actually, I’m pretty sure I would have gotten an e-mail if my friend had been able to get on the Internet.

Gov. Kathleen Blanco said Saturday that she expected the death toll to reach the thousands. And Craig Vanderwagen, rear admiral of the U.S. Public Health Service, said one morgue alone, at a St. Gabriel prison, expected 1,000 to 2,000 bodies.
