Whoever used to broadcast the Bruins back in the day was also fond of the phrase. Either Fred Cusick or Johnny Peirson. Often used when one team or the other scored a couple or few goals in rapid succession.

Which brings us neatly back to Texas. It seems to be confined to N America though as I have never heard or read the phrase in the UK.
