I’m not going to sit here and explain how band size and cup size are correlated if you don’t know already, but suffice to say, because she’s so thin, she’s probably a DD. My tits are bigger than Katy’s and I only wear a D, but I’m also a lot wider than she is. ---

Breast size in women is sort of like height in men-- it tends to get adjusted a bit when trying to impress others— so if your experience is limited to the ladies you’ve groped, that may not be an accurate representation. Women with circus tits often times to try say they are smaller than they are, women with ant bites try to say they are bigger than they are. And like I hinted at previously- a 28 DD is not the same cup size as a 44 DD. ---

I can’t find a link to the actual interview, but she claimed to wear a 34 DD on Howard Stern in April of 2008 [(Cite from a Stern Radio fansite)](http://end-of-radio.com/the-howard-stern-show/katy-perry-on-the-howard-stern-show/) I see no reason to not believe her. 34 is still a thinner band size- most average, chubby to fat women probably wear a 38 and up. As someone who buys bras and wears them, I can buy a 38 DD, a 40 D, or a 42 C. Granted, the middle one fits the best, but I have bras in all of those sizes (sometimes you want a cute bra from Fredrick’s of Hollywood and you’ve got to get the 38 DD!). ---

Again, the girl is little around, so it’s not that big of a stretch-- she’s far thinner than the average American girl walking down the street (volumewise 38 DD \> 32 DD …by a vast amount). And I don’t get how Russel’s Tweet (which was posted earlier) shows she’s a D and not a DD. Since “Double D” isn’t exactly a letter, it would have been hard for him to make that joke in the same context, but since DD is. . . two Ds. . . his Tweet doesn’t really clarify if she’s a D or a double D. ---

I doubt that Sesame Street’s target audience would notice or even care. This whole fuss left me bemused because I had just watched a French family film (rated in France the equivalent of what would be a “G” in the US). In one scene, two brothers were playing outside completely naked, and in another scene, the mother was breastfeeding with her breasts visible to the audience. ---
