# Kayaker runs Tahquamenon Falls

Just south of Whitefish Point discussed in the Edmund Fitzgerald thread is Tahquamenon Falls which is ~50 feet tall and ~200 feet wide.  
A kayaker went over it and survived “The kayaker did not seek park medical attention after the plunge”

I’m curious if the kayak is okay? I’m sure they’re not designed for 50 foot plunges.
