# Kazaa lite with "IP Blocker"

I recently downloaded Kazaa Lite and it claimed it contained a built in “IP Blocker” that provides some protection from the RIAA and other organizations from getting your IP address in order to subpoena you. How is this supposed to work? Is it effective?
