# Kelo vs. New London...the hits just keep on coming

That’s what I thought, too, but that’s a whole 'nuther subject, involving an effort to end a decades-long conflict, not to give to developers what the developers could not negotiate for themselves.

Yep, pretty well doomed, from the looks of the location. (Hey, I sailed – ok, motor-vesseled on a ferry – past there about 4 weeks ago! )

And New London is probably now going to really, really, really want every last penny from whatever the source, what with the Groton sub base being on the block…
