[/QUOTE] Not only is the story fresh off the press, but, according to that very same story, the connection between the deceased and Enron is that one full year after Enron had already collapsed, three Brits are accused of having played games with the stock holdings of their employers in order to turn a quick profit selling undervalued stock. In other words, months after Lay had been removed from Enron and Enron had already crashed, three guys unrelated to Enron tried to play games with stock and a fourth person was _later_ interviewed about banking practices. Yet, in some mysterious fashion, the deceased is supposed to have been killed for knowledge of things that happened even before the crime about which he was questioned. In other news, President Bush has worked with Vice President Cheney for five and a half years. Did you know that VP Cheney has worked _in the very same room_ as John Kerry, John McCain, and John Edwards? Clearly, they are all in on the plot. ---

Another guy died? Man. Soon, except for the thousands of victims, piles of evidence, years of court records and news coverage and the major players in prison, it’ll be like Enron never happened. What a great coverup. ---

Surely if the conspiracy is as rich and powerful as you’re claiming, it shouldn’t be too difficult for them for them to perform plastic surgery on some late John Doe to make him look like Ken Lay for the viewing. Or they could give Lay a drug that slows his metabolism until he’ll seem dead on casual inspection (hey, it worked in Romeo and Juliet, after all). Also, have you figured out the criteria the conspirators are using to decide which Enron figures get whacked and which ones are allowed to fake their deaths and escape? ---
