World Eater, that’s the thing. It’s not pie in the sky shit. Everybody who wants to talk about how Bush is going to run this country into the ground can either step up, or shut up. You want change, but want someone else to make it happen for you, that’s bullshit. What’s more, all the energy that the Dems had came not from Kerry being a dynamic, viable candidate, but from the hatred of Bush. Anyone who voted for Kerry just to remove Bush ought to be slapped alongside the head. I don’t agree with Bush on 75% of his positions, but unless I stand up and act, Bush will run roughshod over me, and everyone else who does not agree. We need more squeaky wheels, my friend, to squeak in the ears of our elected officials. If you haven’t stood up in action, you’ve bent over for inaction. Even though you may act, and stand up for what you believe, and do all that you can to get your message heard, you might not make a dent. That is the collateral damage of a representative republic. Those in the minority might be offended, that’s the way things work, no getting around it completely. ---

I am shocked, _shocked_. \<_snicker_\> To **World Eater** : In response to **Psycho Pirate** , you say: “…only a loser hangs around in a place they’re not wanted.” You must have been quite the playground bully in your youth. The fact is, it is _easy_ to hang around in a forum where you are part of a large majority and have the safety of numbers. But when you are part of a small minority, entering a forum like this is a lot like swimming with piranhas. That takes guts. Personally, I am not a very religious person, but I stand with **Psycho Pirate**. He has as much right as anyone to share this forum and there is plenty of room for his point of view. ---
