I think maybe **The Flying Dutchman** is complaining because Kerry endorsed Edwards’s opponent, as though the default assumption was that he was expected to endorse his former running mate, _or else no one at all_ (ETA: at least until Edwards was out of the race). That about right, **TFD**? ---

Even if I don’t keep up with current events, I’m keeping up with the thread. I’m interested in having **TFD** share the actual reasoning behind his belief that Kerry shouldn’t have done so.
