I also just finished _Nightshade_. It was a pretty good read by one of my favorite authors, but I tend to agree with the assessment by @Siam_Sam of a throw-away. It started off strong but faded a bit in the second half of the story. Still, I would recommend.

Next up: _A Serial Killer’s Guide to Marriage_ by Asia Mackay.
