I will go on with the series, I’m intrigued to know what’s coming. First though, read some of the pile on my headboard before it topples over and kills me. 😆 ---

Finished The Graceview Patient, by Caitlin Starling. Well, technically finished. I skimmed the last hundred pages or so, to find out if the story had any resolution (it did not). It’s a long, tedious, nightmare about an unreliable narrator who has an extended hospital stay. I’ve had actual hospital stays that I enjoyed more than this book. Not recommended. ---

Finished _Worlds of the Imperium_ by Keith Laumer. Not recommended. Also finished _Mathletics: A Scientist Explains 100 Amazing Things About the World of Sports_, by John D. Barrow, which was interesting. Next up: _Expect Great things! How the Katharine Gibbs School Revolutionized the American Workplace for Women_, by Vanda Krefft; and _Rockin’ Around the Chickadee_, by Donna Andrews. ---

Sadly, it was true! Today I read more than half of Midnight Timetable: a novel in ghost stories, by Bora Chung, but it refused to take off. Ditched. ---

I’ve finished L. Sprage deCamp’s **The Undesired Princess** , the first 2/3 of a volume that also contaibs David Drake’s decamp homage _The Enchanted Bunny_ (my next read). After that it’s on to **Someone You can Build a Nest In** by John Wiswell. Wiswell is Guest of Honor at this year’s Arisia next month, and I’m (as usual) a Program Participant. I always like to read at least one work by the GoH (if I’m not already familiar with them) so I won’t be embarrassed if I’m drawn into a discussion about their work. Or, Og save us, an actual discussion with the GoH. I’m not reading anything in particular on audio right now. I’ve been switching between audiodiscs I already have without reading a complete work. Shouldn’t we have gone on to December 2025 by now? ---
