Finished Banana Ball: The Unbelievably True Story of the Savannah Bananas, by Jesse Cole with Don Yaeger, which was okay.
Now I’m reading Hello Stranger by Katherine Center.

Took a couple of minutes and read The Mysteries, Bill Watterson’s new picture book. With all due respect, I don’t know who is going to derive any satisfaction from this.
I’ve begun The Prague Coup, a graphic novel written by Jean-Luc Fromental and illustrated by Miles Hyman, the latter of whom did the pretty good graphic novel of Shirley Jackson’s The Lottery, which I read a few months back. This book is about Graham Greene and the making of the classic post-WWII noir thriller The Third Man.
My current audiobook is Eliot Ness: The Rise and Fall of an American Hero by Douglas Perry, a bio of the Untouchables superstar lawman who never quite lived up to his early fame.
Both are good so far.
Finished Hello Stranger by Katherine Center, which was okay.
Now I’m reading Kinfolk Wilderness, edited by John Burns et al.
New thread: Will you look at that, a real autumn for once!
Finished Kinfolk Wilderness, edited by John Burns et al. It’s a travel book about more obscure places to visit. Interesting, with stunning photographs.
Now I’m reading Emergent Properties by Aimee Ogden, which is a science fiction novella.
